Once again life has just flown on by the past few weeks. Here’s just a bit of what’s been going on at our house lately.
*We had family come and visit about about a two weeks ago. I love it when Steven and Alicia come. We get to laugh and we stay up way to late visiting and catching up. And Mark and I get to spoil their cute kiddos too. The highlight of the trip for the kids was probably going on the daily 4 wheeler ride. All day they would beg and beg for a ride until Uncle Mark finally said it was time to go for one. I can’t really blame them….it is pretty fun.
*My niece, Paige came up to me while she was here and asked me if I knew who was still her favorite adult friend. I told her that I didn’t….she then told me that it was me! I love that kid.
*See this lovely pile of dirt? Soon it will be grass! We had a landscaper come out last week and take measurements and give us an estimate. I can’t wait to have a yard…with grass…and sprinklers….it’s going to be awesome. It’s going to be so pretty. And it’s not going to be brown! Though….Mark will clearly have to find somewhere else to ride the 4 wheeler once we have grass!

*I feel like I am ready for some nice weather now that we are mid-April. The hail we had today just isn’t cutting it for me. I’m seriously tired of needing a coat and gloves in the mornings. I guess in Idaho when they say April showers bring May flowers, they mean snow showers.
*Our next door neighbors moved in a little while ago. At church on Sunday, I found out they have a boa constrictor…named Miguel. They seem really nice and all, but now I can never go into their house. Ever. My luck that darn snake would get out somehow while I was there. Talk about my worst nightmare. I’m cringing just thinking about it.
*I can’t really end on a snake related note, so…We had my family over for a Chopped All Stars party last weekend. It was hilarious. I absolutely love that we can call each other up and do something whenever we want to. It’s spoiling me.
*I love this quote. I can easily get caught up in wanting to be good enough and to impress people, but it’s extremely comforting to know that I have a lot of people around me who make me happy.
