Home Of The Free And Brave

You're a Grand Old Flag
by George M. Cohan

You're a grand old flag,
You're a high flying flag
And forever in peace may you wave.
You're the emblem of
The land I love.
The home of the free and the brave.
Ev'ry heart beats true
'neath the Red, White and Blue,
Where there's never a boast or brag.
Should auld acquaintance be forgot,
Keep your eye on the grand old flag.
Free and Brave. That describes in so few words, the many thoughts that are going through my head right now. I'm grateful for the many brave men and women in this country who by choice or by circumstance have sacrificed all that they have; even their lives. May we always remember and honor them. Not just today, but always.
