Mark had bought tickets to take his class of boys from church to a Blazers' game. Isn't he the coolest youth leader ever?! Well, the night before the game two people backed out. Since Mark had already purchased the tickets....their loss was my gain. So, after work we hit the road for the two hour drive to Portland. I love driving through the city at night. So pretty.
We had amazing seats. They were on the second row.

The Blazers were playing the Utah Jazz. Going into the game, I wasn't sure who to cheer for. We used to watch and cheer for the Jazz when we lived in Utah, but the Blazers were the local team. What to do? Well, once we got there it became apparent to us that we should root for the Blazers. It was a packed game and the people around us were really big and vocal Blazer fans. We didn't want to risk getting beat up if we cheered for the Jazz. Totally not worth it.
It was pretty funny being the only girl in our group. Man I tell you....the stories I heard. They kept me laughing. And I think they liked having me there because I brought a big ol' bag of homemade chocolate chip cookies. I know how to win over a group of fellas. 
We had a blast. And despite all of our cheering, the Blazers lost. I knew we should have cheered for the Jazz.

So fun! I talked to Monica Dickinson about the game because she was there with Grant and she said it was a pretty rowdy game but still a blast. We were bummed the Blazers lost and too bad that you didn't end up with a free Chalupa :)
I totally thought this post was going to be about jackets hahahahahahahaha. Like blazers, you know??? hahahahahahahaha I AM DYING.
